Valgroup is a company that aims for the best in every single aspect.

The concept of sustainability is the cornerstone of our company philosophy and an important topic for the reality of the industry. We undertake and will undertake each day to always find more sustainable solutions in order to reduce the environmental impact of Valgroup’s activity as much as possible.

To improve our company’s sustainability, we produce the energy that we use in our production flow. We use a trigenerator, thus called because it produces three important resources for Valgroup’s moulding and production plants:

• Electric energy: the electricity that powers the preform moulding machinery is produced by the combustion of natural gas.
• Heat: recovered from the combustion smoke from the gas, this is used to heat the diathermic oil and is fundamental to reduce consumption during the polymer drying stage.
• Cold: this is produced through an absorber which recovers it by converting unused residual heat. This resource is used to cool the moulds.
