PET preforms are a light and non-bulky solution which, when compared with traditional glass, allow an enormous reduction in CO2 emissions during the transportation of both preforms before blow moulding and containers after blow moulding and filling.

Energy consumption and CO2 emissions are also considerably lower than glass and aluminium at the production and recycling stages.
